Layer Masking

For these images, I took Jim (and the other few add-ons) and cut them out using layer masking by adding a greyscale layer mask, and changing the contrast & colour curves so that the background was distinct from the image I was trying to cut out. I then painted everything I wanted to keep black, being careful to not get too close to the edges. After I cut the images out, I placed them in the background images where they fit nicely, or where some might not be expected to be (like the boat on the grass).
